Characters
Gary Doyle a.k.a. the Gargoyle By Moonlight
Gary Doyle had the ideal life, a great career, money, even a sweet apartment. But all that was taken away by a mysterious curse that transforms him into the rock-hewn Gargoyle By Moonlight every night. Now all he wants is his life back--that and to get some sleep. But in a city of ever-appearing sinister mysteries, Doyle is beginning to see just how necessary his alter ego is in the battle to save humanity.
Chloe Anders
An archaeologist by training, Dr. Chloe Anders is the youngest director in the history of the prestigious Metro History Museum. Smart and sexy, Chloe is a confident young woman with a brilliant career. She’s proven herself everywhere she’s gone--but now the weird happenings at the Metro might just be too much for her.
The Gypsy (a.k.a. Drina)
The Gypsy (a.k.a Drina) is the mysterious woman who found the Gargoyle and put him on the path to his destiny as the city’s protector. She provides both Doyle and Gargoyle with assistance and advice. And, most importantly, whatever his state, she believes in him. Although dressed like a fortune teller, Drina looks and acts more like she’s stepped off a magazine cover, not a carnival stage. In fact, she always seems to know more than she says and can be frustratingly vague in her pronouncements and predictions.
Carl the Janitor
Most nights, Carl’s biggest concern is getting all the scuffs off the floor before clocking out. But ever since the museum began setting up the Serpent King exhibit and that creepy golden mask, something hasn’t been right. Carl hasn’t been feeling so good. Even grooming his glorious ’stache isn’t as much fun as it used to be.
Silas the Serpent King
Silas the Serpent King is an ancient evil released from the sands of time who is bent on the domination of Creation. Taking possession of a human body, Silas can only enter our realm fully by basking in the rays of the sun, making his transformation complete. Upon doing so, Silas will annihilate all who oppose him.
